While I have been serving in church ministry as a pastor for many years, I have tried to reconcile Christian faith and visual art since my initial college training was in Fine Arts. In recent years, I have grown a greater appreciation and passion for art, knowing that creative gifts are from God. In this new season of my life, it is my desire to serve God by being creative for His glory.
God is the greatest artist since He is the Creator who created this world with beauty and wonder. I believe God is delighted in those who imitate God by being creative and discover a new relationship with Him through Christ. I am exploring and developing multiple styles of paintings with both general and Christian-specific themes.
1. General Theme: My artworks display God’s created world, both nature and still life.
2. Christian Theme Specific: A portion of my artworks also specifically display Christian faith.
